Kingsbridge Insurance Brokers Open New Birmingham Office
Liverpool headquartered insurance brokers, Kingsbridge, have opened a new office in Birmingham to service new and existing clients across the Midlands region.
Established in 2001, Kingsbridge Insurance Brokers are a specialist insurance broker looking after a number of niche sectors, including recruitment and umbrella, utilities and agriculture. Kingsbridge Insurance Brokers are part of the Kingsbridge Group – employing 100 people with offices in London and Tewkesbury. Kingsbridge is owned by NSM Insurance Group, the leading provider of speciality insurance programs in the US.
As part of its continued growth strategy, Kingsbridge is excited to be opening a new office in Birmingham. Managing Director Gary Williamson remarked, “Birmingham is a fantastic insurance market to be a part of, being a presence in the region was firmly in our plans and when the right leader became available to build a new office location with, it was too good an opportunity to miss”.
Kingsbridge’s new Birmingham office will be led by Mark Hayward. The new Branch Director, Mark commented “This was a fabulous opportunity to join an established yet very ambitious business to set up something new. Kingsbridge has very exciting growth plans for the specialisms that we will be focusing on, especially in this region of the UK. For these reasons, I am delighted to be here leading the team”.
Birmingham is the latest office opening for Kingsbridge, who have plans to further expand into new locations. Williamson said “In the past 12 months we have grown the size and strength of our team incredibly and there is much more to come. With the support of the group and our parents at NSM, we have investment to grow the business. We have significant organic growth plans alongside a supporting acquisition strategy, should the right opportunities arise”.
Williamson also noted, “We have Account Executives and a leadership team that spans a number of territories and are strongly establishing ourselves in these areas, including across the North and into London and the South East. It is our intention to further strengthen our footprint in these insurance markets, accessing new talent pools for the business”.
