Any loss or damage to buildings, fixed plant and machinery or stock is likely to lead to a loss of gross profit as a result of a reduction in turnover. A Business Interruption policy will meet increased costs of working, fixed or continuing expenses (including wage roll and salaries) and loss of net profit to the business.
